It's Essential that your home qualify for Solar Energy
Type of Home
A single family home works best for Sunrun solar panels. If you own a duplex, or townhouse this may qualify. However, make sure you do not violation any HOA by-laws.
What is the condition of your roof?
Do you have an old roof, or known issues? You will need to consider replacing or fixing any known issues before installing solar panels.
Roof Type
Sunrun solar panels can be installed on composite or asphalt shingled roofs. If you have tile, metal or a flat roof, additional inspection will be necessary to qualify the roof.
South Facing Roof?
A south facing roof is best to optimize solar energy production. East facing panels work best in the morning, while west facing panels work best in the afternoon. North facing panels can be install in certain situations and areas. Also, make sure there are no trees or buildings blocking the sun from your roof.
Electric bill and Meter
During the summer, is your energy bill on average over $100? If yes, Sunrun can help lower your energy cost. We will also need to review your energy bill and kilowatt usage. Lastly, make sure your home has the latest PG&E electric meter.
Credit Score
You will need a minimum credit score of 650 to qualify.
